MacRitchie Trek...
Wah... went for the 10.3km tree-top trial at MacRitchie today... its kinda fun to be embraced in nature once again...
Went off to causeway point to eat lunch after the lessons... finished at ard 1330h... then walked ard causeway to buy somethings which is needed... such as water, sweets n batteries(for my camera)... then left causeway at 1400h n reached MacRitchie at ard 1445h... went to change into pe attire n met ms lee down there... then waited for other ODAC members to come... then ms chew n mr sim were late because they had a meeting... so at ard 1545h, we finally started our trek...
The trek itself was ok... with ups... n downs... n ups again.... quite stony ground... lotsa leaves as well... lolx... but i enjoyed the walk though... i felt as though i was drenched in rain due to my perspiration... neway... after abt 5km or so, we reached the HSBC tree-top trail... yar larz... which is basically a 100m long n shaky narrow bridge abt 50++ meters above ground... actually, its much much higher... cause already did lots of climbing before reaching it... the view is fantastic... can see quite far away... all the buildings n the reservoir itself... then ms chew also told us some info abt the plants there... but its kinda short larz... very fast crossed over liaoz... then we trekked down and ended the trip...
It has been so long since i really went trekking... kinda happy to haf this chance today...
