Right, school juz started for me.. and yes i noe that for some, holiday juz started... but hey.. dun make me jealous.. cause i had my share of holidays b4 school started... neway, for those who dunno, it was my bday 3 days ago on the 27th.. lolx...

I met my classmates today at dover mrt station... we went for lunch together n bought out lap coats... n it cost $15... oh ya.. we can meet for lunch cause our time table starts at 12 noon on mondays... so after lunch we walked ard... its CCA week btw.. so we juz went CCA shopping... the place is kinda crowded n warm... lotsa CCAs to choose from... wad attracted me was the SP Adventurers and the SP Archery.... Kinda sad that i cannot find the SP Cyclist booth anywhere.. lolx..

We then went for lesson... and guess wad??? First lesson of my 3 years in SP is a maths lesson.. and guess wad else?? my first piece of homework in SP is a math tutorial... sianz.. then i realised that i haf the nastiest teachers in SP... and got to stick with her for the rest of the semester...

This weekend is really a fsat one for me... there is practically no rest at all... spent 13 hours in NPCC HQ on saturday and went Labrador park for NCO training on Sunday... before i noe it, the weekend is over... almost couldn't get up to meet my classmates today as i was too tired...

After i got home, i went to the bank to settle some stuff and polished my belt and boots... now i m starting to feel sleepy... maybe i'll sleep earlier tonight...

SP Flag Day...

Today is a very hectic day for me. In the morning, i met my classmates at the mrt station b4 going to class together to report for the flag day.. then the director flagged us off... the area assigned to my class is aljunid... but we found out that there wasn't much ppl there so we went to bugis, suntec, raffles city n areas ard there... there wasn't much luck at all cause there is like 5 thousand SP ppl going ard... n its kinda difficult to get donations with so many collectors at one place. N i found out that suntec is not compassionate... juz stand outside their tower they also want to chase.. idiots... nvm...

Right.. really disliked ppl who juz ignore u... even if u dun want to donate, a simple 'no thank you' is much appreciated... also saw some comical things.. like how the ppl try to avoid us at every corner.. lolx..

Then we(the class) met up again n travelled back to SP to return our tins... then i was sabotaged to be the class rep.. then i went to ntss for NPCC activity... it was so messy.. but nvm.. since its their first time... dun want to talk abt it.. so tired now.. dun want to type any more...

Orientation

Right, went to SP for the Freshmen Orientation Program or FOC as they like to call it... met yi xian and yao heng at the mrt station... then went to the convention center... spent abt 2hours at the convention center.. listening to all the ppl talk talk talk talk talk talk talk.... then saw the Principal of SP on vedio... lolx... dun even think that i'll haf a chance to see him in the 3 years there.. lolx...

Went to class n met my classmates for the first time... 20 ppl in my class... 19 names to remember.. lolx.. then was told abt SP flag day to collect money for 46 charitable organisations in Singapore... n guess wad?? my assigned area is Aljunid... thats like so far from my hse... but nvm, for the sake of charity... haha.. my class ganna meet at the mrt then go to the meeting point together... kk.. then everyone did a bit of self introduction to the rest of the class... ya.. then after that went for a short walk ard the campus with the senior leading us...

Another thing is that i also got my tertiary student ez-link card liaoz... but after 30th may then can use.. but nvm lar... the other card of mine still got cash.. lolx...

Alright... juz to update u guys abt the past few days... i went to see some chinese doc to get my heel wrapped up in a bandage.... that was wednesday.. then today friday then can remove.. n yup.. juz removed it... some squad mates actually suggest that i keep it on so dun need to wear boots in the next NRC... but no way man... polish the boots so much then hide it at home??? ha!

Neway, today is the inter-unit quiz competition organised by ntnp(new town npcc)... ya... supposed to appear there larz... cause other 2 fellow CIs r bz... both with school... juz hope my heel wun affect me too much larz... ya... been preparing for it for quite some time... juz hope that there r no cock ups... but hey~!, thats y i m there right?? so solve probs shld any appear... although we haf already been quite proactive to think of the possible cock ups.. but who noes wad will happen?? today can also be considered at the first event the sec 3 squad is in charge after they become ncos... so perhaps this can also be a test for them ba...

Right.. yesterday went to friend's school to use the school's spars n ropes to test out our pioneering structure... its a competition between the squads larz... then we got to use wad we built to play some game... its actually a catapult and a shield larz.... one to shoot n one to catch wad u shoot... so i dun think i need to say which is for wad larz... but so sad couldn't really do much cause of my stupid heel.. then it rained all of the sudden n i got to get out of the rain cause that bandage cannot get wet... sigh... then we built a mini one using dowel poles under the shelter...

Tomorrow's the skool's commendation day.. supposed to go n get something larz... then immediately after that got to rush to suntec to meet my squadmates to discuss abt certain things... juz hope as many as possible can turn up larz... then on sunday got to meet my ATC group.. so u can say that the last weekend before the start of school is gone man...

Bye RC... Hi ATC...

Whee~! the Residential Course(RC) is over... honestly speaking, it juz ended today larz... now at home.. in front of the computer... exactly 7 days since i last left it alone...

Feel so tired... been undergoing both physical n mental stress during the course... our feet did not stop moving until we slp at night... also our ear drums r quite damaged as well... neway, all these is nth... cause wad is bitter to go through, is sweet to remember... n i believe in that... so after 7 days, i finally get to slow down my pace of life... n sit n relax for a while...

Throughout the course, i haf learntmany things... shan't bore u with the regular NPCC stuff like drills, campcraft, orienteering etc. the most impt thing which i haf learnt that i muz do is to think. there is a reason behind everything that is done... n also, dun ask questions which dun need to be answered... as in, u dun haf to be told wad to do.. instead juz do wad u r supposed to do... of course this is onli one way of thinking... there r many others... shan't bore u with that too...

My squadmates r a bunch of interesting ppl... honestly speaking, without them, i would nvr haf survived this 7 days... also thanks to my bunkmates as well.. without the talk cork session every night, life would haf been unbearable... the instructors were being harsh on us... well, i guess thats the norm? but haf u ever wondered y? i nvr. until onli recently when i learnt to think... my instructor said to us.... think til it hurts.... n we'll get the answer... n with that, we would master the skill of self-discovery... n i haf much to learn.

Well, the RC is now over... but i still haf got 1 ATC n 2 or 3(i can't remember) NRCs left... n i haf a meeting tml for my ATC grp.... this is another mental stress which i m going through now... n my heel is injured... suppose thats a physical stress? i dunno... i dunno how long i can hang on... but i will... not because i muz... but because of the objectives which i had in mind from the day i decided to join this course...

Lastly... i'll end off with this phrase which my instructor left me... he told us via a story.. so here it is:

2 photographiers went to France to take pictures of a beautiful place... but to go to the place with the best scenery, they haf to go through an alley filled with shit n dun smell good... one decided to juz take a normal scenery some where... while the other continued on and made it through... when returned, the editor asked the one who went through the alley 'why did u go through it when its to smelly n dirty?' the photographier replied 'Sometimes, we haf to go through shit to get the best things.'

Day 2

Ok.. today is day 2 of the CIBTC... hm.. the day can be considered quite relaxed initially... ya... basically, its still as boring as its filled with lectures n the influx of more homework... then at the end of the day it got messy n confusing as there was much movement.. but.. oh well... its over...

So tired siaz... n to think next monday is the residential course already.. fast huh? hm.. i dunno wad to say larz... juz not really awake.... switching off liaoz....

MSN is sending out virus.. thats wad i heard... neway... my own com is strucked with virus... this is typed in an internet cafe... idiot man...

I haf completed abt half of the homework which i haf to do for my course.. which is of course a good thing... i also bonded much more closely to my squad mates... they are a bunch of fun ppl to haf ard... lolx.. this week, like i mentioned, i haf to be in uniform.. propably because its my course opening... suprised? yes.. my course is not officially open yet... haiz... juz hope that its not as boring as last week... n may there be less shoutings from the CIIs...

Its so frustrating to haf a virus in the computer...

Day 1...

Day 1 of the cibtc wasn't that bad.. other than shoutings from the CIIs... they r practically crazy ppl larz... mine r strict like mad... but when discussion they do try n make us think more... ya lar...

It was actually a rather boring day yesterday... other than pt drills in the morning... the other times were all lectures... thats y i say bored ma... then saw all the paper work that has to be done for one atc... makes me dun feel like planning atc at all... especially if u r the logistic ic.. good luck man...

Right.. first day.. n got 4 homework already... so sad siaz... got to do lesson planning, sec 3 atc planning, my own atc planning n the unit info sheet which i muz fill in... of which.. all haf not been mailed to me.. so... ya... cant start on any... worse still there isn't much time to plan... they force ppl to meet n arrange outside de.... hm... later ganna caught by police as rioting or illegal gathering the jia lat...

Neway, for next week's training... i ganna need to bring my full uniform... in fact to fall in by 8am in full u with all the admin stuff completed... so ganna meet my squad at 7am larz... we got to protect our ear drums... if not later become deaf... then its like juz a few more days left to polish my boots n belt up to standard... if not ganna scolding for sure.. the stupid drill cloth also so hard to pin one... haiz...

K lar... actually come to think of it.. its not that bad larz... *trying to think positively*... at least i will learn new things at the end of the whole course...
