Titration again...

As usual, i m unusually excited today because there is chemistry practical... n as u all might haf guessed, its titration!! this week's one is more exciting...

Last week, we used acids that we already noe the concentration which is already prepared by the lab tech... but today, i made a standard solution myself!!! so excited.. then use it to titrate against sodium hydroxide which we dunno the concentration... the indicator we used was phenolphthalein... wah... was so excited when it turned from colourless to pink in colour!! wah... some more its add the deciding drop of sodium hydroxide from the burette... so excited... the colour is pale pink... pale until cannot pale... but still can see its pink... then.. today also better than last week... cause this time my readings were within 0.1 cm cube of each other... =)))

Neway... basically.. thats abt it today... still kinda excited... lolx...

Went to clementi this morning to play soccer with zhong teck they all... then actually.. want to go sentosa... to meet OG friends... but too tired due to skool n soccer.... lazy to travel also... so nvr go... so sorry...

Neway, as yesterday is friday, i m once again buried in tutorials... i haf to complete chem tutorials 6 & 7.... prepare a speech for chinese, n a lot of writing to be done for it as well... then bio got to prepare for next week's test on carbohydrate n water(dun look down on this dipolar molecule ok!!)... then next monday got maths test as well... haiz.... but there is something to look forward to next week though... and that is the titration on monday... =)))...

Went back to ntss yesterday also... not because to visit teachers... but actually for NPCC... then i cannot believe wad i saw... dun wanna say any more... ganna make my blood boil.... juz wanna say that at the end of the day, even if they manage to get the gold, they are still the same old selfish them, n nth is learnt...

Ganna go rest now.... tml muz chiong tutorials liaoz...

Titration is fun!!

First, i would like to apologise to those who felt that i do not update my blog frequent enuff... Please understand that i m usually too tired to type or there is nth in particular which happened... however, i will try my best... lolx...

kk.. for the first time in my life, i carried out titration during my chem practical in skool... i m suppose to titrate sulphric acid again sodium hydroyxide to find the concentration of sulphuric acid. ok... dunno wad to post liaoz.. oh yar... on the train home yesterday, saw this couple standing by the door... then after taking a closer look.. they are actually............ oh well.. u noe wad i mean... even when door open they also dun care.. so daring siaz... lolx... then later got to go n do this stupid chinese weekly journal... dunno wad to write... sianz...

oh yar.. i got into ODAC liaoz...

NYAA SILVER!!!

Due to some complains by a certain someone(u noe who u r)... i decided to post today...

Firstly... i received news yesterday that my NYAA Silver had been approved... n that i will receive in april... of course i m also very happy because everyone who submitted got the badge... ok.. thats one thing... another thing is that i haven been exactly that free to blog nowadays... so please forgive me... reason being that i haf many tutorials to complete n stuff to revise... though u guys may see me online, but i m actually doing my tutorials... yea... n usually... i m too tired to blog after that... like for example, today, i haf ran more abt 2.8km for PE lesson... actually we juz went 4 rounds ard this hill we call the 'teletubby hill'(cause it looks like the ones in the show) n one round is ard 700m... if thats not enuff... cher made us do jumping jacks n push ups...

I realised that they things i learn in JC is actually very interesting... although its a lot to understand n remember... but i always tell myself that it is very simple n thus able to remember most of the info... then it is also a lot of workload... many ppl find JC life very stressful... but in my opinion, it isn't... it is juz that skool may end later n its more tiring... but there is definately enuff time for things which u want to do... that is if good time management is in place...

Haiz... very tired liaoz... after all that running... wanna go n rest liaoz.... zZZzzZzZZzzzZZzz....

Life's like that in here....

Juz got home from skool.. mind u, its ntss not innova... well... went there to help out with npcc... which is... i m all would noe by now--- my life.... lolx... anyway... let's talk abt life in innova...

For this week, things haf been rather cool... with all the new way of education in terms of lectures n tutorials... however, there r onli lectures for this week... i haf been given many tutorials to complete even on day 1 of skool... well... juz gotten like another 4 tutorials today... while i struggled to finish other 4 tutorials along the week... i haf gotten my time table for next week... n trust me... it doesn't look friendly... its ganna be very tiring for me because i now haf tutorials n practicals on top of lectures... of course everyone in a jc now is facing the same thing... but juz happy that there r still time to make friends... well... i ganna end lessons quite late... ard 4++ 5?? early days r actually wednesdays n fridays... juz hope that my cca dun fall on fridays... well... basically thats wad happening... n that my principal is a very long-winded lady... lolx...

My time in ntss today is really an eye opener... i see things which r actually not very good... but i suppose it could be due to the long holiday n thus the drill is................. nvm.... but still i cannot expect perfection... cause nth is perfect... but at least near to perfection... hope its not too much??

Blur Blur...

Today's the official start of lessons... i started to haf my lectures coming in... there wasn't any tutorials yet until next week.... n my time table is onli valid for this week...

The very first lecture i had was biology... the lecturer was like a machine gun... n he claims that he is already very slow... i really dun want to try his normal speed... its like 6 pages of lecture notes in less than half an hour... after that is lunch... n followed by a maths lecture... the lecturer speaks in a mono-tone... i almost fell aslp... haiz.. n we were doing sets which is relatively easy... then i haf this one n a half hour break... spent the time reading through biology notes... try n understand wad the lecturer has said... then went for this chemistry lecture... dun understand wad the lecturer is talking abt.. cause she uses the different terms for things... so not really used to the way she speaks... but still managed to sit through the lecture without drifting off... (if i drift off, it means that i dun understand n gif up)... after which is the PE lesson... juz took height n weight... nth much... i haf grown taller by 2 cm to 180 cm now... n i seem to be getting lighter... muz eat more...

Neway, i juz hope that they finalise the time table as soon as possible... so that i can plan my own time well also...

Orientation is over... skool is here...

okok... the campfire last night marks the end of the one week orientation i had at innova jc... although a slight drizzle come down every now n then, the spirits were not dampen and the fire kept on burning... honestly speaking, the campfire wasn't very nice cause the fire is at the back of everyone... so its like we cannot really see the fire unless we turn 180 degrees... neway... it was fun in terms of new friends standing n singing together... ok... thats the end of the campfire...

regarding my cca, i haf decided to join the outdoor activities club or the ODAC... it seems that there is nth else that attracts me... in ODAC, we do things like kayaking n hikings... it seems that all those that go through NPCC cannot live without the outdoor... as to my subject combination... i got my ideal subjects... bio chem maths gp cl... n my civic tutor happens to be my orientation grp facilitator or OGF... i'll get my time table next monday through my CT... well... in the mean time... juz pray hard that fridays r early days for me... the P says that everyone would haf one or two early days... as early as 1.30pm to 5.30pm... i juz hope for one on friday... n lessons would start at 8am next monday...

juz hope that the rest of my time in innova would be nice... n the food sux....

Orientation...

okok... skool started... i m the first batch of students to study in Innova JC... the stupid Principal keep saying things like we r making history... say things like the u r probably the first person to sit on the chair which u r sitting on n stuff like that... well neway, thats not impt larz... basically for the past 2 days, there wasn't anything much larz...

on first day we were like doing ice breaking games n team building games as well... btw, our orientation grps r named after stars... cause the P says IJC is like a new star born in the north... my grp name is Jabbah... then after the games is lunch... after that is subject talks at the singapore sports skool cause our own hall isn't even built yet... then return to IJ to paint our very own grp flag... then dismissed... for today, its basically juz subject combination registration... n games games n more games.... basically... for the next few days... its still ganna be games n more games... then at the end of this week... meaning friday, we would haf a campfire... then next week, we will start lessons officially... juz hope that fridays end early... as for CCA, i'll haf a hard time choosing... cause no uniform grps... then some more CCA day is friday.. so limited CCAs.. well... dun care larz... see lorz.. .the CCA open hse is on friday... oh btw... the subject combination i chose was GP, MT, Maths, Bio n Chem... juz hope that i would get it...

I suppose thats all larz.... juz hope that the orientation wun be boring... n the games wun be lame...

Happy New Year!!... yes... it is a new year... a new begining... let me tell u wad i did in the last day of 2004...

I met yuen yun at 0915h on 31st december at b ouna visata mrt to pass her her things which she forgot to take last time...i then took a train to douby gaut(dunno how to spell) mrt station to meet mr chan n eugene... matin supposed to be present but wasn't feeling well... we then went down to the Red Cross House to collect tin cans to collect money for the tsunami victims... we collected a total of 40 cans... then eugene took the tins back to skool while mr chan n i went to plaza singapura to buy more stuff for the bbq at skool... then i made my way back to skool while mr chan went to meet the cis... i met ms liang in skool... n soon more ppl came... n the bbq starts... the worse part is that the food is one hour late!!! so we juz start bbqing the food which mr chan got at PS... haiz... then after that, we went up to the skool hall n played badminton.... some watched vcds on ms liang's laptop... then came the countdown... but before that we observed 1 minute of silence for the tsunami victims... then we started to bbq again... lolx... to finish up the food... if not waste no nice... afterall.. .ppl on the other side of the world may not haf food to eat... then we went up to the hall again... to continue with the badminton n vcds... we then cleared up the place at ard 0930h(1st Jan liao)... then we left the skool...

Next, its new year's resolutions... i dun make any of them cause i noe i would end up forgetting them... lolx... good luck to those who haf made any...
