I guess it shows...
It is a very obvious thing, which i sort of looked into further detail recently... especially after today's .22 revolver dry pract... kk... wad i m refering to is actually the behaviour n attitude of the squad i took...
Even when in a squad, those guys r fantastic... they can move n talk n joke n not giving a damn for any person with or without authority... even after being told to do the right thing, the peace onli lasted for a few seconds... their attire is also another problem... but i suppose they dun really care, but how the whole squad look does create an impression in front of other ppl... during the training itself, the kind of behaviour(u haf to see it to believe it) is not acceptable... okok... maybe i m strict... but if u noe which squad i m refering to, u would agree with me...
As i was saying, the root of this problem is that the squad is not properly brought up since sec 1... with such a 'good' TO ard, i suppose its not exactly their fault for their behaviour... afterall, some how it seems that the TO allows it.... i shall not elaborate on further on this side... of course... there r a few good fellers in the squad... but... i suppose that they stand the minority...
Before i end, i would like to encourage those going for their marksman to train up their armpower... remember... it is not juz a badge to beautify ur own uniform, but the percentage of marksman is part of the UOPA as well... even if u dun want the badge, think that it would make it more difficult to prepare ur uniform, then at least, do it for the unit... i thank you for that...

Broke Record...
Wah~! i broke my record today... actually woke up at 2pm.... but cannot blame lar arhz? afterall, i did not slp for like 41++hours... lolx...
Today is the start of the Cadet Inspector's Basic Training Course(CIBTC)... which i m suppose to attend(long story larzz)... but in the end i m not going... but ermz... teck wei is... juz received a call from tecky's mum asking me to go with her to HQ... i think tecky left something at home or something... haiz... go camp until dun want to go le still can forget things... lolx...
So now i m like juz slacking at home... finally got a time to rest from this terrible week... monday was doing open hse preparation, tuesday i brought ppl down to woodlands secondary for competition... wednesday was open house preparation n the graduation dinner... yesterday was the actual open house(read previous post)... wahahahaha... this is also my first December holiday in 4 years without holiday assignments... so its really SLACK arhz~!!!! lolx...

Open House
Today is NTSS's Open House... as usual... NPCC has to set up a booth to show the parents wad kind of activities NPCC can offer... hope that it helps in their selection of secondary skools later on... lolx...
After i reached home at 8 am from the graduation night, i bathed n ate n went to skool at arounf ten o' clock... upon arrival, i went to check out the booth n was happy to see that things r going well... after i claimed cash from ms ang, i returned to the booth n to my horror, the rifle rack which was supporting 2 air rifles gaf way... in fact, one of the twine snapped n caused the rifles to drop to the ground... thankfully, no damage was done... then the whole rifle rack was removed because it is too loose n can no longer support anything.. worse still, the 2 tripods are opened wrongly... haiz... then took over the booth when cadets go for ACM... so juz stood there... so sianz... haiz... then at around 4pm, we were given the instruction to pack up... n so we packed up the place...
The most disappointing part of the Open House is that i wasn't shown the rifle rack before the actual day... some said i left before it was done... which is nonsense because i left when practically everything was done... i think that all Instructors, CIs n TOs r alive n kicking n visable.... thus it is not possible for them to miss me... thus cadets... Plz lar arhz... ur officers r here to help... so go to them every time u completed ur assignment regardless if u haf a doubt or not... juz let them check n go through... another bad part was that some idiot kicked a soccer ball which hit onto the banner causing on end to break n sewing is needed to repair it...
So as u can read, the Open House is full of nonsense n full of mistakes... I juz hope that cadets would learn something from this n put it into good use in future... Afterall, the mission of NPCC is to Nurture all cadets into careing n responsible citizenz...

Graduation Night
Yupz... went for my graduation dinner last night... i went to skool in the morning to collect my graduation certificiate n briefing on the admission to JC/CI.... the thing ended at ten plus.... cleared the tables in the hall for the servants... then went down to the canteen to check out on the open hse preparation....
Was damn angry... cause all that supposed to be done r not done at all... even worse, cadets r like not really united... then in the end... the whole thing was in a mess... even i dunno wads going on.. so i gathered everyone... then i dispatched the manpower again... the NCOs made me damn angry.... was twisting the structure which was holding on to the banner... juz because they wanted that spar... well... i was damn angry cause after i asked if there is any label, i was shown a small one which anyone would miss... n they actually dared to blame my cadet when they nvr label bigger... because of them, a lot of time was wasted rebuilding the structure.... but i suppose... i can't expect much from them other than arrogance... the charts were two-third done n i left the rest to matin... hope all going well... going to skool later to check...
right, last night was cool... went there in my long sleeved shirt... lolx... first time lehz... felt a bit weird... but its ok i guess... then after the speeches made by the P, PSG n HP, the buffet began.... the food wasn't that bad... then the games were also quite fun.. although some may be a bit embarassing as some guys need to remove their long sleeved shirt(i had to remove my belt)... neway, there was also the Graduation Night King n Queen.... Justin n Nicole respectively.... after the whole thing, it was photo taking session.... take take take n take until the eyes cannot see... lolx.... we then left n went to swensens to celebrate kenneth's birthday... he was smashed on the face by a cake... lolx...
after that, we walked to marina south from orchard to catch the sun rise... we were there at ard 4am... sianz... waited for like 2 hours before the first light broke out... haha... damn cool... after the sun emerge fully, we went home... so i spent the night out~!!!!
kk... now juz got home... gtg n do other things n go to skool later.... lolx...

The past 2 days....
Yahoo~! i finished my exams yesterday~!!!! its now time to play.... no larz... lolx... more like work... immediately after my paper end, i went down to the canteen to help out with the open hse...
Basically, there wasn't much order when i arrived... thankfully saw hanni... then we sort of starting making connections n get a clear picture of wad's going on... then started to gif instructions.... in the end hanni was over looking the grp doing the rifle rack... i went to look after the charts... but at the end of the day... sad to say.... the charts r not completed cause of insufficient pictures n not measured correctly yet also... i then went for .22 in the afternoon.... stood for 3 hours... was glad to see the revolvers once again... assisted murni mdm with the cadets... after that afternoon, i realised that the sec 2 squad need a lot of armpower training...
For today, i went to skool at 0700h.... waited til 0730h... then got one person late 2 minutes... haven settle with her yet... anyway, we took 2 cabs down to woodlands secondary skool.... many thanks to zhong teck, marvin n wei jie.... we reach at abt 0800h... then waited for 40 minutes before woodlands NPCC is ready to receive us... during the 3 hour long competition.... the NCOs of woodlands NPCC were behaving as though they r monkeys... playing with the piano in the skool hall.... some more play the same tune over n over again for like 2 hours.... so irritating... want to complain that time their officer then tell them to stop... so stupid... the still make so much noise also... their attire also like..................... neway... we got the 8th position with 328 out of 1000 pieces on the board.... lolx....
Thats a very brief account of wad i haf done in the past 2 days... quite fun n there's more to come.... lolx...

Which way to go?
the end of the GCE 'O' Level exam is near... in fact, my last paper is on next monday... honestly, i can't wait for the whole exam to end, i m already in the holiday mood...
I am now standing at a junction of life... to be precise.... a T-junction... where by i haf to choose one way... n say goodbye to where i come from, n wad the other road i didn't choose might bring... In front of me, i haf to choose between going to a Junior College or to a Polytechnic... it is not possible for me to go to a ITE... after some serious thinking, i realised y teachers in primary skools keep asking us wad our ambition is... wad we want to do when we grow up... because, after the 'o's, one haf to make a decision on the route to take to fulfil their dreams...
it is a sad thing, when i see that the NCOs r not sure of what they r doing... their body language shows that they r uncertain... worse still, they r teaching the wrong action for the song... i do not know if any of the NCOs r going to read this, but i m not here to reprimand them... juz want to say that perhaps, if they know wad they r ganna teach, n they noe that they r not sure of it, it would be better if they check it out with their officers n practice themselves before they meet the cadets... this would allow them to teach with confidence... n would avoid showing the cadets their 'blur' look... this would create a better impression of them in front of the cadets... right?
neway, now i haf to go n study for the science paper 1 coming up... many say that "MCQ dun need to study larz".... but i beg to differ... cause it is a fact that MCQ stand abt 20% in the whole science paper... i mean, wheather u get ur distinction or not depends on it as well... many fail to see this... juz hope that their daily work is good enuff for them to go through the paper... juz hope that i m in that category whereby i can choose to go to a JC or not... it would be better than onli being able to go to a poly... muz keep both roads open n not to close one before i make a choice...
before i go, i wish the NCOs good luck in organising their annual camp, n my fellow skoolmates good luck for the last paper or the GCE 'O' Level exam...

A Break~!
after one n a half week of exams, there is finally a break of 5 days... thanks to the festivals that r coming up... so, i decided to go shopping for some long sleeve shirts for the graduation night dinner... in the process, i found out that Singapore is really small...
I went to one of the shopping centres in Clementi and after trying on some shirts n deciding on which colour i want, i looked up n saw one of my friend cum cadet---> Alvin!! lolx... apparently he was going to go n play badminton cause he was carrying his badminton racket(i later found out that there was no free court so he decided to walk ard)... after paying for my stuff, i walked to the Macdonals to buy some snacks... to my surprise, i saw my biology cum form teacher Ms Susan Wong!!! wah~! wad a shock... she saw me also n walked over n asked my abt the bio paper.... lets fast forward now........... then as i finished my snack at Macdonals, i saw some ppl suddenly appear in front of me... they include my friend cum cadet---> Jimmy n Shu Yi... wad a lot of unexpected meetings today... juz when i thought it is enuff, i walked face to face onto my english teacher Mr Tay Yong Lai....
that was the last shock of the day... Clementi is a dangerous place to be.... u can see lots of ppl unexpectedly.... its quite fun too to haf such meetings happen once in a while...

The GCE 'O' Level Exam...
The General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level Examinations, or the 'O' lvl is here... it has been 5 days since the start of the whole examination which would end on the 22nd for me...
i find that the papers r relatively easier compared to those set by the school... i mean, its neither too difficult, nor issit easy at all.... however, there is a catch when the paper is easy - it is harder to score.... imagine, u r not the onli person who would find the paper easy... i mean, the whole cohort of students taking the exam would find it that way too... so like if everyone scores abt 90%, they cannot gif eveeyone an A1... so those scoring like 75%, would not see the distinction.... they would draw a cumulative frequency graph to decide where the distinction mark is.... so.... all that u can do is to do ur best, for a higher chance to get into the distinction catrgory....
actually, i am happy that the 'o' lvl exam is here.... for after this, its lots of time for play.... during the paper, i realised the meaning of wad they say "a pen decides ur future" or in chinese, "一笔定江山"... for it is the pen that decides ur grade... meaning, wad u write on the answer booklet.... n u decide wad u want to write.... it is really a scary experience for any mistake, no matter how small, would in the end destroy you...
so far, i haf cleared all languages, half humanitites n half maths.... n one science paper... next week, all the sciences n emaths would be cleared..... so i shall end here.....
